The Eden Summer Camp
A 7-Week True Education Day Camp for Children Ages 5–12
Hosted at Paradise Fields Organic Farm, The Eden Summer Camp is a unique outdoor learning experience where children grow, explore, and thrive in a natural, Christian, nurturing environment.
Why Eden Summer Camp?
In a world of screens, noise, and rushed schedules, children are losing something essential.
At Eden Summer Camp, we are restoring it.
Our Beliefs
Nature is the best classroom
Children learn best not from books alone, but from the living world around them
("Speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee")
True education develops the whole child
Physical, mental, and spiritual growth must be cultivated together—not separately
Useful work builds character
Children should not only learn—they should contribute, create, and serve
Service is the highest purpose of learning
Education finds its fullest expression when it blesses others
Our Mission
To provide a joyful, structured, and meaningful environment where children:
- Grow in confidence and character
- Develop a love for God, nature, and others
- Learn through experience, not just instruction
- Discover the joy of purposeful living

🌿 Everything You Might Be Wondering
-
Eden Summer Camp is more than entertainment or childcare—it is a thoughtfully designed experience focused on the development of the whole child. Children spend their days immersed in nature, learning practical skills, building character, serving others, and discovering the joy of meaningful work in a peaceful farm environment. Our hope is that children leave not only with beautiful memories, but with greater confidence, stronger character, meaningful friendships, and a deeper appreciation for nature and others.
-
Yes — parents are welcome to remain on-site, especially for younger children or families transitioning into a group environment for the first time. To help create the best experience for all campers, we simply ask that parents support the flow of the program and the guidance of the educators during activities. We've found that children often grow beautifully in confidence and independence when gently encouraged to participate alongside their peers while knowing their parent is nearby. Please note that parent presence does not change the registration cost, as staffing, materials, meals, and program preparation remain the same. Our heart is not to separate families, but to partner with parents in creating a joyful and meaningful summer experience.
-
At the moment, Eden Summer Camp does not provide on-site lodging or trailers directly. However, families who have their own camper or trailer may be able to arrange a stay on the property depending on availability and logistics. If this is something your family may be interested in, please contact us directly: 416-910-1635. We'll do our best to accommodate and support your family's experience.
-
Eden Summer Camp is rooted in Christian values and the principles of True Education. Each day includes worship, prayer, Bible stories, and character-focused lessons presented in a joyful and age-appropriate way. Families from all backgrounds who appreciate wholesome values, nature, kindness, and character development are welcome.
-
Yes. Safety and supervision are a top priority. Our program is intentionally kept small to provide personalized attention and a safe environment for every child. Activities are supervised by experienced adults, and all practical projects are designed to be age-appropriate. Our educator team includes a Graduate Practical Nurse with experience caring for children in camp and outreach settings.
-
We intentionally limit enrollment to 12 children to maintain a more personal and attentive environment. This allows our team to better support, guide, and engage each child throughout the day.
-
The camp is designed for children ages 5–12. Activities are adapted appropriately based on age and ability so that younger and older children can both thrive and participate meaningfully.
-
Absolutely. Our team creates a warm and encouraging environment where children are gently guided into participation, friendship, creativity, and exploration. Many children surprise their parents with how quickly they adapt, grow in confidence, and begin enjoying the outdoors.
-
Children will participate in hands-on experiences such as: gardening and harvesting, birdhouse building, planter box construction, farm-to-table cooking, flower bouquet preparation, and service projects for others. We believe children gain confidence when they create, build, contribute, and work with their hands.
-
Selected weeks include meaningful service initiatives such as: growing and selling produce to support children in need in the Philippines, and preparing flower bouquets for seniors at a local retirement home. These experiences help children discover the joy of kindness, generosity, and purposeful work.
-
One healthy farm-to-table meal is included each week as part of our cooking and health education experience. Parents are asked to send: a packed lunch, snacks, and a reusable water bottle. Additional details will be provided upon registration.
-
We do our best to work with families regarding allergies and dietary concerns. Please include all important medical and dietary information during registration so we can properly plan and communicate with you.
